Some of the benefits of becoming a member of Kennesaw Kennel Club include:
- the fellowship and camaraderie of others interested in the hobby of purebred dogs and dog sports
- monthly/bi monthly membership meetings with educational speakers
- educational seminars with well-known figures such as Carmen Battaglia
- member prices for events such conformation training classes, puppy classes, basic obedience, and competitive obedience
Becoming A Member
All members of the dog loving community are welcome to attend general meetings.
People over the age of eighteen who are non commercial breeders of purebred dogs or are interested in activities such as conformation, performance competitions, or other AKC activities and are interested in actively working for the club are eligible for voting membership.
Interested persons should attend meetings for at least six months and become well enough acquainted with at least two members who would be willing to be sponsors before applying. New memberships are voted on in July and December.
Prospective members of Kennesaw Kennel Club must attend six (6) meetings prior to application for membership. Each prospective member must be sponsored by two (2) Kennesaw Kennel Club members in good standing, and be over the age of 18. New members will be voted on by the general membership in July and November.
Membership dues are $20 annually for an individual membership. Family memberships are also available for $35.
The Kennesaw Kennel Club is pleased to offer a non-voting Junior Membership to interested individuals between the ages of 10 and 17. Junior members must submit an application with two sponsors and be voted on by the general membership.
